Total Eclipse

There's a solar eclipse today visible in the Southern Hemisphere: "plung[ing] Ghana into daytime darkness Wednesday, a solar show sweeping northeast from Brazil to Mongolia." So, if you're there, be sure to pick up those special glasses to wear so you don't burn your retinas.
You'll also want to heed the warnings of the Hindustan Times (according to Fox News) and not use a knife or axe outside - you will cut yourself; don't let pregnant women outside - their babies will be born blind or with a cleft palate; and be sure to throw away all food you've cooked - it will be impure.
